Monthly Supporter Payments
Monthly support helps keep NI Food Compass running, but it is not a paid account yet.
What monthly support means today
Supporter payments help pay for hosting, monitoring, data checking, capture work, and continued development. They do not currently unlock private account features, larger server-side baskets, alerts, or stored cloud baskets.
Monthly only
Support is monthly only for now. We are not offering annual plans while the service is still young and while grocery data access, retailer responses, and operating costs are still being proven.
No card storage
Payments are handled by Stripe. NI Food Compass should not store card numbers or payment card details on its own server.
Cancellation and help
A Stripe customer portal link is being prepared. Until that is fully configured, payment help is handled by email through [email protected].
Fairness
If the site has to change because of retailer data restrictions, technical limits, or operating cost changes, monthly support keeps the risk smaller for everyone.
Future accounts
If paid accounts are enabled later, they should have clear account terms, privacy wording, export and deletion options, and per-user baskets so households never see each other's shopping lists.
